HELP SUPPORT US!

The Arizona Council of the Blind is a registered 501C3 tax-exempt volunteer organization supporting the blind and low-vision community of Arizona. It supports four chapters, the Guide Dog Users of Arizona, The Maricopa Club, the Phoenix Chapter, and the Southern Arizona Council of the Blind. It itself is a chapter of the American Council of the Blind. If you would like to help support the work and actions of AzCB you can use PayPal to make a Tax Deductable Donation right now this very minute.

We will contact you once Pay Pal notifies us so if you want your donation to go to a specific club or program, just tell us then, or write to us via our treasurer at tim.connell@azcb.org

VEHICLE DONATIONS:

Auto donation to the Arizona Council of the Blind supports our members, from all walks of life, in dealing effectively with the challenges of daily living. We use the reliable nationwide services of Donate Car USA and they handle all the details and are a breeze to work with. They come to your home or office to remove the donated vehicle, whether car, truck, motorcycle, van, RV, plane, or boat, and send you a receipt for the fair market value of your vehicle. We will tow your vehicle for free no matter what its condition.

Millions of Americans donate to charities each year. Many of these donations are made using money, but just because you don’t have any spare cash at the moment doesn’t mean you can’t help a cause. You could donate your time to help sort food at a food bank, or to help build a home for a family in need. You can also donate old possessions that you no longer use. The donation of old cars is one way a lot of individuals have found to reap the benefits of charitable contributions.

Benefits of a donation:

Qualify for an IRS Tax deduction.
Free Towing, whether it’s running or not, anywhere.
Eliminate the hassle of repairing and selling your car.
You get the car off your hands.
You help out others.

Vehicle donations made to any ACB group are tax deductible. Our organization has been designated by the IRS as a 501c (3) charity. In general, the IRS limits the tax deduction to the gross proceeds from the sale of the car, truck, or other vehicle, and they have a pamphlet available for download or on line viewing in PDF format and you can get that at http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/p4303.pdf.

Simply call the toll free number at 800-320-3746 with the year, make and model of your vehicle, the general condition, the vehicle identification number, and with title and lien in hand. Donate Car USA will handle the rest. A friendly operator will answer your questions, and if you call after hours, leave a message and an operator will call you back at whatever time you tell them to. They will arrange a convenient time for free towing and mail your required tax form documentation within a few weeks.
