LOCAL DESCRIBED MOVIES

For an Arizona state-wide list of theaters see the EMVIA calendars at emvia.org/az_movies. New theater movies that are not being caried over usually come out on Fridays.

TALKING BOOKS

Talking Books has a large variety of descriptive movies that you can check out. Free movie loans from the Arizona State Library are as easy to get as their recorded books and are also delivered postage free right to your door. The older recordings are on VHS tape and they are building up their collection of studio captioned DVDs. One warning, though: the DVD movies may have menus that require a sighted person's help. Call the library people at 1-800-255-5578
